i have a cool camera

but i am not the best at using it.  i have A LOT to learn.  i really need to read the manual.  i have been having trouble getting good photos of my layouts to post online.  that is, until i tried Maggie's way.  she has a tutorial on Studio Calico about the best way to photograph your layouts and it WORKED!  i am so excited.  finally the colors look right.  case in point, this layout i did last week.  i was waiting for good sunlight to get a shot of it because i knew i wanted to try Maggie's tutorial.  and here it is:

the only thing i had to do was tweak the brightness just a little tiny bit.  i am super please with the results. you can check out the tutorial here.

lots to do today.  cleaning to be done. groceries to be purchased. packing to be done.  possibly a movie to be seen.
