today.......

today is day 9....i can't believe i am still doing this. i tend to peter out when i try to do something like this. glad i am sticking to it! tonight i had my book club meeting at Memories in Bloom. i love this group of ladies. we have been together for several years and i know i look forward to seeing them each month. we started as a Pine Cone Press book club and Georgie (the owner of the store) decided to start choosing her own books and products for the kits and we love it! it is much better since she knows us so well and picks books and products we all like. when we moved to Nashville i decided to continue to make the drive because i enjoy the book club and the ladies so much. we did a decorated gift bag sway and i got this one.....

the layout below was from our kit. it was actually a kit from Little Yellow Bicycle from their Christmas Magic collection and it had all the items you needed and instructions to make the layout. i loved it because i really didn't want to come up with my own design. i had a rough day yesterday at work and was brain dead. i just followed the directions and voila! a great double page layout. the photos are from Christmas 2006....our first Christmas in our own home! my whole family was here and great memories were made that year......
