today in savannah.......

we got up this morning and went to have breakfast at the Breakfast Club on Tybee Island. it was the BEST breakfast i have ever had. i had a pecan waffle and homemade sausage which was awesome. the waffle was way better than waffle house. rob had a killer omelet. score one for Fromers....nicely redeemed after the hotel it suggested. not quite a dive but not great either.

left Tybee and went back into Savannah and took a trolley tour for most of the day. learned all about the historic past of this great Southern city! got off at City Market and made a reservation for Lady and Son's for dinner. i have heard it is not really worth it to go but want to do it anyway. continued on the tour until about 4 then went to check into our hotel. we are in a room overlooking the river. just saw a ship with a tug boat going down the river. awesome! here are a few photos from today.
